Review
I know some people tend to stay away from additional books from a series you've never read from but I can't stress enough to you that this can be read as a stand alone novel. Although, the entire series is wonderful. I was really excited to get Sean's story. I've read all of the other books and Lizzie's story has been great to read but it was really cool to learn more about Sean. A little background for all of you not familiar with this series. Lizzie O'Malley is the leading lady of the series. She meets a guy who seems nice until she actually really needs him and he pretty much abandons her. Now, she ends up with another guy (not Sean) eventually but Sean was always the really reliable and constant guy friend in her life. Now, I absolutely love who Lizzie actually ends up with but I was really glad that Sean's story was told in this book. It's proof that nice guys don't always finish last. Well, maybe they do, but as long as there's a happy ending, I guess it doesn't matter when they finish. ;-) Anyway, I wont ruin the book for anyone how hasn't read it yet but, Sean meets a girl at one of Lizzie's party. At the time, he's still pretty stuck on her and in love with her. He also has a close relationship with Lizzie's son. Well, through the story, he meets this girl and their story is amazing. Sean is just a really sweet guy. But, he's not the typical "nice guy". He's a really sexy tattoo artist. So, he's not this innocent guy. You'll love this book. Like I said, it can be read as a standalone, even if you haven't read the other books. If you have read the others, you'll love that this book tells more about Lizzie (past and present). It tells where she's at in her relationship and you'll see how much time has passed now that her son is pretty grown up. It's really cool to see how it all ended up. I loved reading about these characters, this was a really awesome series! One of those books that you can't put down until you finish!
