Tether - LIVE

Great news for all of those fellow Christina Garner fans -- TETHER (Book 3 in The Gateway Trilogy) is now LIVE!!

I have already read this book and I cannot get over how fantastic book 3 was. Christina Garner did a great job typing up all lose ends and so you know what happened with everyone. I love when authors remember to tell what happened with even characters who weren't as important as the main characters.

First, let's discuss my new favorite character that is introduced in Tether -- Michele. Christina Garner named the character after me so it was really cool to see my name and description of the character in the book. She actually has an important role in the book. She's introduced a little later in the book so keep you eyes out for her introduction!

Tether picks up where book 2 ended. I don't want to give a whole lot of spoilers for those who haven't had a chance to read the series yet but, to summarize the book, I'll just copy the book description for you all to get an idea about what this one is about.

Book Description

Ember was only trying to keep a promise when she jumped into the demon world. But instead of saving Cole and his people, she found herself just as trapped as they are. She lives and learns with the Daemon survivors while the demon threat grows every day.

Meanwhile Taren struggles with his guilt for not stopping Ember. He’s desperate to know she’s alive, but there's been no sign of her except in his own vivid dreams.

As they struggle to reconnect, the Gateways around the world weaken, and the demons begin to amass for war. The end is near and Ember must face her fears if she has any hope of saving the world – or herself.

With everything falling apart, her only hope is to find...her Tether.

One of my favorite parts in the book was actually learning what Ember's tether was. I had my prediction and I was wrong. I LOVE all of the themes within the book. Tether was very well written and has such a beautiful ending.

I have to say, the message and direction of Tether completely surprised me. I haven't read such an amazing book in a long time. Granted, I read a lot of romance novels that don't really have a hidden meaning or theme but, just the ideas surrounding the theme of the book was very powerful.

After I finished reading Tether, I just had to tell SOMEONE how amazing it was. I am eager for you all to read so I have more people to discuss it.

Occasionally I am asked for suggestions for series to read in a book club. I'll admit, I have a hard time thinking of good ones to suggest because a lot of books I read don't have anything worth discussing. Now, I will be suggesting The Gateway trilogy. This entire series will work for people interested in romance, young adult, supernatural, really-- anything you can think of. And great for males and female readers.

Again, I cannot say enough about Tether. Such a great read. You will not be disappointed after reading.
