CHELEZ BOOK BLOG REVIEW
For those who aren't familiar with this series, this part two of a series...the first book is called, The Road to Nowhere... You'll want to read that book before continuing with this second, and final book. Warning: may contain spoilers (specifically for those who haven't read the first book). This series introduces you to Mia and Creed... the love interests. Creed has a brother, named Noah who becomes a major side to a complicated love triangle. Basically, Mia was completely infatuated with Creed growing up (he was much older than her). Because of timing, Mia and Creed couldn't really act on their relationship until it was too late. Mia had a one night stand with Creed's brother, Noah. Long story short, she became pregnant with his baby...then enters Creed. Of course this complicates the Creed-Mia love story just a bit... Book two picks up with Mia pregnant and attempting to work things out with Creed, while also trying to work with Noah as she is carrying his child... Obviously, Creed isn't very supportive in that sense...because he loves Mia and she is his. (I'm totally team Creed so my review always turns out in favor of Creed...I acknowledge this). So, without completely ruining this book for everyone, I will say that a lot of really bad things happen in this book. It's not all sorrowful, there are some hilarious moments. You'll see Creed and Mia go through hell and back. You'll see Creed and Noah fight it out. And you'll see Mia struggle with choosing between two brothers who are in love with her while trying to focus on bringing a baby into this world. This isn't one of those feel-good love stories. Don't get me wrong, Team Noah and team Creed-ers will be equally happy with all the hot scenes the book is filled of. However, you'll have to go through an emotional roller coaster in between the sweet and sexy scenes. This book is a must read...both of the books are. I have posted before about the Good 'Ol Boys series. For those fans, you will read of some of the characters. Mia is a daughter of one special character you may remember in one of those books. As always, I'm interested to hear what you all think of the book. This one is defiantly approved by Chelez Book Blog and I look forward to keeping you all posted for future releases from M Robinson!

“Creed,” I whispered in a voice I didn’t recognize. Trying to reel in my feelings, hide the fact that he still had an effect on me.
After all this time.
“Tell me any of that, and I swear I’ll leave you alone, cuz at the end of the day… All I ever wanted was for you to be happy, and if that’s not wit’ me, then at least I have the memory of the love of my fuckin’ life.” He placed his forehead on mine, bringing his hands up to frame my face again. “Say the words, babe,” he groaned in a tone that made my stomach flutter and my body warm. His mouth so close to mine that I could feel him breathe on me. The smell of cigarettes and mint took over my senses. As if he was testing me, he licked his lips slowly, provoking me. Proving that he was right. I shut my eyes. I had to. The realization was too hard to admit, and I knew he could see it in my gaze.
He knew me. “Creed,” I panted, my breathing mimicking his. “Please…”
“Please what, baby?” he rasped as if he was hanging on by a thread.
Waiting for me to say the magic words that would
set us both free.
“Creed,” I whispered in a voice I didn’t recognize. Trying to reel in my feelings, hide the fact that he still had an effect on me.
